Return Policy & Guarantee

Receiving goods

When you receive your new items, it is important that you check the right products have been delivered and whether there is any visible damage to the packaging or product. If everything looks fine, you should sign for receiving the goods. If the package is damaged or shows any sign of other visible defects, please refuse to receive the item and ask the driver to return it.  When you find out defects later when you unpack the items, please make pictures and send us an e-mail right away. If one of these situations happened to you we feel very sorry about that, we will take care of it, no worries!

You've got 14 days to return an item when is not custom made/made to order

If your MEAUI. STUDIO product doesn't live up to your expectations, you can exchange or return it up to 14 days after the day you received the product. This is only the case if the item is not custom made/made to order for you, it is not possible to return custom made/made to order products. Before the deadline of 14 days ends, you should inform us of your return by sending an e-mail to info@meaui-studio.com. We will then send you a returns form to send together with the returned item to our return address. Unfortunately, it is not possible to return an item without a returns form. You are responsible for ensuring the goods arrive with us in the same condition as when you received them. The shipping cost of return shipment are at your own expense unless other arrangements apply.

Please note that only items in original packaging can be exchanged/returned. It is therefore a good idea to fold up the packaging neatly and keep it somewhere safe until you've finally made up your mind.

As a rule, the returned amount will be refunded to you in the same way as the item was initially paid for - we'll hurry as much as we can, but in some cases, it may take up to 14 days. 

HOW TO REQUEST A RETURN?

E-mail info@meaui-studio.com to request a return, including:

1. Order number which can be found in your order confirmation email;

2. Reason for return.

Prepare your return parcel including:

  • All original packaging and product;
  • Filled-in return form which you received from our Customer Service;

Return using your preferred parcel service.  

Returning goods

If the product is not in the same condition as it was when you received it, an amount corresponding to the decrease in the sales price will be deducted.

The deductions correspond to:

- Item ok + original packaging ok = No deduction

- Item not ok + original packaging ok = min. 50% deduction for deterioration

- Item not ok + original packaging not ok = min. 50% deduction for deterioration

Returning custom made/made to order furniture & mirrors

It is not possible to return a custom made product from MEAUI. STUDIO.

At MEAUI. STUDIO handmade design furniture & mirrors are tailor-made for you. That means no dusty boxes in stock, as we only produce your furniture/mirrors for you once you have placed your order. 

We therefore ask you to consider your purchase thoroughly before placing your order.

Guarantee 

Our 2 year guarantee covers any functional, material or manufacturing defects on the products you buy from MEAUI. STUDIO for private use, not caused by yourself. Please send us an e-mail with photos and an explanation of your complain.

Products for private use

All MEAUI. STUDIO products are designed and manufactured for private use and comply with all legislation for private consumers. The normal product guarantee is therefore not applicable for commercial use.

 

We reserve the right to printing errors, price and production changes and discontinued items.
